Student manual

Use this section when your Moodle assignment is connected to ScholarScan.

Typical path: Open assignment → add or edit submission → upload file → save → submit if required → wait for processing → open the ScholarScan percentage.

What you can do

1. Submit a supported assignment file.
2. Open your latest report if the lecturer allows student access.
3. Interpret similarity and AI indicators carefully.
4. Resolve a missing, pending, or failed report.

What you may see in Moodle

• Pending while ScholarScan is processing or Moodle is waiting to synchronize the result.
• A linked percentage such as 24% when the report is ready and student access is enabled.
• ScholarScan Similarity Report in the assignment submission area.
• A report email from the ScholarScan portal, if the lecturer enabled automatic email.

Note

Students can only open their own report. Whether students can see reports is an assignment setting controlled by the lecturer.
